Mental Health Advocacy
Advocating for athletes to continue conversations around mental health, prevent mental health issues, and support themselves and each other, both on and off the field/court/track/rink/etc.
- Single-day or multi-day seminars with athletic teams, organizations, departments, or groups. 
- Seminars implement discussions, conversations, and activities regarding mental health topics for athletes. 
- Mental health advocacy programs/seminars can be completely customized to teams’/organizations’ unique common themes or priorities. 
- Goals of seminars: - Allow for a space for athletes to grow, not just learn. 
- Foster conversation amongst athletes on mental health. 
- Build teammates’ bonds with each other in order to help them feel more comfortable opening up about tougher topics. 
- Increase awareness of mental health challenges within the athletic community. 
- Decrease stigma around mental health topics/conversations. 
- Provide resources and tangible takeaways to implement in order to improve athletes’ own, as well as others’, mental health.
